GEOFFREY ROBINSON
Bishop Geoffrey Robinson,
the former Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney Australia, is coming to San
Diego. He was the advocate for victims abused by priests from
1994-96. He himself was a victim of abuse and spoke out about it and
the denial, inaction and lack of concern shown by Rome for all
victims. The Vatican chastised him for speaking out. He chose to
resign his office and wrote a book:
Confronting Power and Sex in the
Catholic Church: Reclaiming the Spirit of Jesus.
